We’ve had a rough time

At Gulfstream this year.

Each horse had a view

Of Irad Ortiz’s rear.

He was ALWAYS in front.

Nearly won every time.

So we’re shipping up north.

For this meet, we’re done.

Hope to see him again

As our horses improve,

And we travel the country;

Start hitting our groove.

We’ll recall that view

We saw winter and fall,

But hope this time we’re winning

And can’t see him at all.

Of course, there’s one other way –

And we’d be awfully proud –

If the next time he’s winning

He does so for Black Cloud.
